MODO’s Top 3 @ UNO

The 2017 UNO Fest kicks off in 3 weeks – to help you plan your perfect festival, Modo has made their Top 3 Picks for this year’s edition of UNO, featuring 3 shows from acclaimed solo artists from across Canada. Buy your 3-Show Pass (new this year) and use it book Modo’s picks: Quiver, WTF (or What’s Theatre For?), and Burn Job.

This year UNO celebrates it’s 20th Anniversary, and so do our friends at MODO (formerly Victoria Carshare)! If you’re a MODO members, keep your eyes peeled for a special UNO offer in your inbox very soon.

Anna Chatterton’s Quiver uses manipulated sound onstage to create a sonic landscape to tell this dark and delicious comedy about a passionate and imperfect family. Quiver has played two runs in Toronto, most recently as part of Buddies in Bad Times 2016/17 season.

Acclaimed Canadian theatre artist and solo performance pioneer Daniel MacIvor takes us on a journey through his personal and professional life in WTF (or What’s Theatre For?), this keynote address commissioned for the 20th UNO Fest. After the show, there is a Q&A, so ask Daniel your burning questions about theatre and life.

Punctuated with music tracks and manipulated sounds created live on stage, Fringe legend and master monologist TJ Dawe returns to UNO Fest with Burn Job, a story about growing up and blowing things up. This marks TJ’s 7th appearance at UNO.
