Intrepid Theatre

Rarely does a simple “call me back” suffice…there are pranks, angst and proclamations of love and desire from a forgotten medium, captured on tape. Part confessional, part show-and-tell, After the Beep uses voice recordings from Pamela’s “private” teenage phone line. It’s a chapter from Pamela’s life – documented in everyone’s voice but her own.

Presented as part of Intrepid Theatre’s YOU Show Program –  a platform for local emerging artists to launch their new work. We hand over the keys to the theatre to the artists for a day and they test-drive a new project. This program has launched over 30 new shows since it’s inception.
