“Arts funding being how it is not,” growled the producer, “We’ve cancelled our production of As You Like It.   You’re all fired. Unless someone has a better idea.”   “The show must go on!” cried one brave, seasoned artist. “I’ll play all the parts myself!” Accordingly, WE HOPE YOU LIKE IT! “… impressive was Jennifer Ciceri Doyle… a highly accomplished performance.”– Adrian Chamberlain, Times Colonist

About the artist/company
Jennifer Ciceri Doyle loves performing anything written before 1800. In 2017 she established Pacific Renaissance Theatre in order to foster within the community a love of Early Modern plays and to encourage performance practices based on a solid foundation of technical skill and constant curiosity about the social and political circumstances behind the creation of the plays being performed. This summer, she lucked out in obtaining the services of local Lutenist Douglas Hensley, whose musicianship, professionalism, and generosity enhance the air of authenticity and playfulness of this production of “As You Like It”.
