France, 1686. Mathilde is a young nun whose life radically changes when she meets Julie d’Aubigny, a notorious Parisian opera singer and swordsmaster. About the artist/company
Blue Elephant Theatre is a theatre collective of new and emerging artists. Under the direction of Anna MacAlpine, we are focused on producing new and dynamic Canadian plays. Previous productions include Here Be Dragons (Brock University 2013), The After Year (In the Soil Arts Festival & London Fringe Festival 2014) and Polonius and His Children (Calgary Fringe Festival 2017). We are currently based in Victoria, BC.
