In 1973, my family left war torn Chile to come to Canada. After living here for 14 years, my father decides to move the family back to Chile where I lived for the next 10 years of my life. This is a funny and sometimes sad account of how I was a Chilean growing up in Canada and then quickly became a Canadian growing up in Chile.
