NEW LOCATION! The Victoria Fringe’s Dive Bar is located at 1620 Blanshard St @ Fisgard (across from Fringe HQ and beside Frank White’s Dive Shop). 

The Fringe Club is the magnet for artists and Fringers from early evening to the wee hours of the morning most days of the festival. Have a drink (or two) between shows, meet the artists and celebrate all things Fringe. It’s open nightly from 8pm til late (almost) every day of the festival! Proudly pouring local brews from Phillips Beer & Merridale Cider. 

Note: The Fringe Dive Bar will be closed on Sunday, August 27 for SUNDAY FUNDAY at Venue #1 – Victoria Event Centre and Sunday, September 3 for the Pick of the Fringe Awards and Closing Night Party at Venue # 3 – Metro Studio.

WHAT’S ON AT THE DIVE BAR:
Tuesday, August 29th – HANG, DRINK, CHILL or start a dance party at the Dive Bar.
YES! The Dive Bar will be open during Preview #2. If you are at the preview, come to the Dive Bar after to carry on the party.

Weds, Aug 30th: MONOBROW at 10pm
Fringe artists take the stage to throw down a 3-minute story in our annual monobrow story slam.
Featured Artists: Dave Morris, Ben San Del, David Elliot, Paul Shortt, Mocia Ogden, Holly Brinkman, Morgan Cranny, Jonah McKeen, Adam Shwartz and Becca Jorgensen.
Hosted by the one and only Christina Patterson.

Thursday, Aug 31: KARAOKE EXTRAVAGANZA by Grayson Walker. 10pm the karaoke begins on the Dive Bar stage.
Bring your power ballads and get your butt to the Dive Bar to sing your heart our all night long. Hosted by the one and only Grayson Walker.
As well, this is Volunteer Appreciation day/night, so high five, hug and thank an incredible vollie why don’t cha!

FRIDAY, SEP 1: TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION NIGHT all night long.
So…. those folks that are hiding in the venues alllll day/night long and who are running your shows so wickedly…let’s celebrate the techs tonight!!! Come to the Dive Bar and write all over the walls your BEST story about how awesome your venue tech is. By the time the techs arrive at the Dive Bar, we hope the walls will be covered in LOVE for the TECHS.
…ping pong, 5-pin bowling and fun. Join us.

SATURDAY, SEP 2: SINK THE DIVE BAR DANCE PARTY PARTY
Last night of the Dive Bar, let’s drown this ship!
What else to say – dance, drink, socialize, party.

SUNDAY, SEP 3: PICK OF THE FRINGE AWARDS AND CLOSING NIGHT PARTY at VENUE #3 – The Metro Studio. 10pm
See you at the Metro for the final late night hurrah!
Celebrating the favourites from the festival, drinks will be pouring allll night long. Grillerado in the back parking lot serving hot dogs (veggie & meat) to feed your booze filled bellies.
Dance party on the Metro stage after the awards are given out!!!!!
