Accessibility – Winter Series

Intrepid Theatre’s 2021 Winter Series takes place online.

We are pleased to offer captioning for all events and ASL interpretation for Facebook Live artist talks and digital on-demand show The Darlings Uncensored.


Real-time, live-transcribed captioning (CART) will be provided.

Learn the Ins and Outs of Touring with Pearle! Feb 16, 7:30pm.

Drag Make-up Workshop with Rose Butch. Feb 19, 7:30pm.

Arts Worker Income Tax with Jen Braem. Mar 9, 7:30pm.

How to Access:

Workshops take place via Zoom. Once you are in the meeting, click on the Closed Captioning button at the bottom of your Zoom window to view live-transcribed captions. The transcript will also be available in a separate window, the link for which will be posted in the chat at the beginning of the event.

Artist Talks

Real-time, live-transcribed captioning (CART) and ASL interpretation will be provided.

The Digital Stage: Janet Munsil & the Canadian Play Thing. Mar 2, 7:30pm.

How to Access:

Artist talks take place on Facebook Live. Captions and interpretation will appear for all viewers. Interpretation will be streamed live.

Digital Shows

The Darlings Uncensored will be ASL interpreted and closed captioned.

Feb 23-28, on demand.

How to Access:

This digital show is a pre-recorded video viewable on demand and includes ASL interpretation that was filmed live with the show. To view the captions, click the CC button in the bottom right of the video player and select English (CC).

OUTstages After Dark performances will have auto-transcribed, computer-generated captioning on Facebook.

Feb 19, 20, 26, & 27, 8:00pm.

How to Access:

Performances will be live streamed via Facebook and Instagram Live. Captions are available on Facebook only. To view captions, click on the cog/wheel settings icon in the bottom right corner of the video player and toggle the Auto-Generated Captions button to On. Please note these captions are computer-generated and may contain errors, especially with names of people and places. After the live stream, the captions will be reviewed and adjusted for continued viewing.
