Pulled from the dark, steamy corners of online hookup culture with verbatim text from actual Grindr conversations, HEATSEEKER delves into the lives of gay men trying to find love, sex, and human connection in the modern world. This ‘concept album for the stage’ is a new musical collaboration about gayness, Grindr, and geek love.

Special Double Bill Night! If you attend the May 11 performance of REALBOY, you can book a ‘Double Bill Ticket’ and see HEATSEEKER (Hank Pine/Jenson Kerr) as well for one ticket price. Select the ‘Double Bill’ ticket option when purchasing for REALBOY.

Note: the performance uses water based haze.

HEATSEEKER is part of the UNO Works Series, featuring new works in development from local artists.

About the artists:
Hank Pine never refers to himself as “gay icon”, but he certainly can’t stop others from doing so. This is Hank’s third musical he has created after “Tragical Comedy of Punch and Judy” (Caravan Farm Theatre) and “Blisskrieg” (Belfry).

Jenson Kerr constantly refers to himself as a “gay icon” and demands others to do so as well. HEATSEEKER is Jenson’s third exploration of Grindr and the gay hookup culture after “Grid” (UVic Satco), and “Grid 2.0” (self produced).
