This one-man tribute to Randy “Macho Man” Savage covers his thrilling career and tumultuous marriage to manager Miss Elizabeth. It also weaves in the story of a boy fascinated by professional wrestling and the dangers of meeting your heroes.
Winnipeg “local legend” Geoff Hughes debuted the “Macho MANitoban” at the 2025 Winnipeg Fringe Festival and garnered sold-out performances and standing ovations.

About the Artist
Geoff Hughes has toured Western Canada with children’s theatre, dinner theatre and fringe theatre. Debuting in 2025, The Macho MANitoban seemed an inevitable persona for Geoff to manifest after years of performance, improvisation and a passion to produce theatre.
