Each Community Maker Space is facilitated by Louie Lang Norman, a local artist and the Operations & Venues Manager here at Intrepid. Louie is a performance artist, drag queen and published writer with over a decade of professional experience in the arts, and is always open to lending a hand or ear towards people’s projects and ideas.
Intrepid will not supply materials or equipment – please bring your own! If you have things to spare or share with other community makers, we encourage you to do so. If you would like to bring specific equipment to work on your project (sewing machine, steamer, something else unnamed), please contact Louie in advance to make sure we can accommodate you. Individuals are responsible for clearing up after themselves (cleaning products supplied). Please ensure that you leave your working space clean and tidy; cleaning products will be provided.
Accessibility:
Intrepid Festival Hub is a step-free space with an accessible washroom. Due to the fact that activities will vary at each drop-in, we cannot offer a low-sensory or low-scent environment. If you have a severe allergy, or otherwise have any questions about accessibility, please contact Louie at louie@intrepidtheatre.com in advance.
Cost:
Recommended donation of $5, but no attendee will be turned away for lack of funds. Cash or card donations are taken at the door.
