“Hi, I’m Rosie Grypma. You might know me as ‘A Real Karen’ or ‘Just an Average White Woman,’ but I’m also a touring Yuk Yuk’s comedian and the recent winner of BC’s Funniest New Female Comic Competition. I’m bringing my very first hour to the Victoria Fringe Festival! Come join me as I unravel on stage, sharing stories of my past and present while trying to connect the dots of how I got here. About the Artist
Rosie Grypma is a Langley, BC–based stand-up comedian quickly making her mark on the Greater Vancouver comedy scene, earning the title of Best New Female Comedian in BC 2025. Drawing from her young family, years in construction, and small-town BC upbringing, Rosie delivers an offbeat, self-deprecating style that keeps audiences on their toes. When she’s not lovingly embarrassing her family on stage, she’s writing screenplays and quietly wrestling with her Catholic guilt.
