Rental Update
We are now taking bookings for live theatre and dance performance that are multiple consecutive day rentals only (ie. your event takes place over more than one day in a row).
Currently all rentals:
- New to Intrepid Studio: General Liability Insurance with a minimum of $2,000,000 coverage
- Must ensure all participants adhere to Intrepid Theatre’s Vaccination Policy and our own COVID-19 Safety Plan
We are currently rolling out a new venue operating plan, which includes changes to booking policies and rates. Stay tuned for more information.

The Intrepid Studio is the hub of new and independent theatre in downtown Victoria. It holds up to 40 in flexible seating, making it ideal for anything from small productions, workshops, auditions and play readings to lectures, classes, photo shoots, meetings, and rehearsals. In addition to rentals, the Intrepid Theatre Studio is also home to Intrepid Theatre’s own festivals and programs, such as Uno Fest, The You Show, OUTstages and the New Play Reading Series. The studio is equipped with a basic lighting plot, sound system and theatre drapes; you supply your own technician. This DIY space is very popular.

The Intrepid Theatre Studio is wheelchair accessible and has two all gender washrooms. Intrepid Theatre’s administration offices are located at the Intrepid Theatre Studio.
