The Artists

Headliner: Katie-Ellen Humphries

Originally from Victoria, comedian Katie-Ellen Humphries currently splits time between Vancouver and New York and can regularly be heard on CBC’s “The Debaters” where they also work as Associate Producer. A founding member of “The Lady Show” (winner of “Pick of the Fringe”, Vancouver 2018), Humphries got her start as a member of Victoria’s Atomic Vaudeville. TV appearances include “The Funny Pit” (CMT), “She Kills Me” (APTN), Winnipeg and Halifax Comedy Festivals (CBC) and 3 years on comedy talk show “Morgan Brayton & Other People” (OUT-TV). Their standup album Ladyfinger debuted at the top of iTunes charts and is available now.

Scarlet Chen

A filmmaker from China, moved to Canada 3 years ago. She made her way into stand-up comedy by accident. But having opened the pandora’s box, she has released something unusual in her inner self and become a tiny force in the island comedy scene. Opened for Maria Bamford, seen at LA Burbank Comedy Festival.

Patti Savard

Confident, sassy, and queer. Patti Savard shares her life experiences as a transgendered woman in our current world. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s, and having to live as male most of her life, has given her an interesting perspective on social behavior. Ready or not, she will tell you what she has learned with her passionate expression and animated delivery. Patti was featured on Mark Breslin’s “New Years Eve Comedy Extravaganza” at Massey Hall in Toronto.
At home, on the Vancouver Island, in her small community of Comox, she is growing her local comedy scene with regular occuring showcases and open mics, which can be followed @ComoxValleyComedy on Facebook.
