Open call for Queer Youth Cabaret at OUTstages
In partnership with Staches & Lashes.
We are thrilled to welcome queer youth performers back to OUTstages 2023! The Queer Youth Cabaret returns to the festival on Sunday February 5, 4pm at The Metro Studio.
An open call for local 2SLGBTQIA+ performers under 25 is now open. Applications are due by January 10, 5pm. This cabaret is facilitated by Kelly Legge and hosted by Henrietta Dubet, from Staches & Lashes. We are seeking submissions from all performance disciplines (original writing, spoken word, monologue, music, performance art, etc.). Due to time constraints, not all applications will be programmed.
Selected performers will receive a 3-5 minute performance spot in the show, free tickets to the festival, and an invite to a meet & greet with a festival artist.
