News: Hub Open House | May 15, 6-8 PM

Join us for the official launch of the Intrepid Festival Hub. On May 15 from 6-8 pm, we will be hosting an open house of the Festival Hub. Come check out our newest space, enjoy some sips and snacks, and ask us questions about our rentals program and renting the Hub.

Welcome to Intrepid’s newest rental space, the Intrepid Hub! Located right next door to the Intrepid Studio at #2A 1609 Blanshard St, the Hub is a mixed-use space perfect for:

  • Script readings
  • A volunteer centre
  • Annual General Meetings
  • Club/society meetings
  • Coaching sessions
  • Rehearsals
  • Small-scale workshops/classes
  • …and more!

The Festival Hub is a shared, flexible space. The front of the building is accessible to renters, and the kitchenette and washroom is shared with Intrepid Theatre staff members during office hours (10-5pm, Monday-Friday). The back portion of the Hub is dedicated office space for Intrepid Staff, and also houses three hot desks available for resident artists and renters.

Please note that non-shared rental use of the Intrepid Hub is only possible on evenings and weekends.

The Intrepid Hub is step-free and has one accessible, all-gender washroom.
