Award-winning queer playwright Dave Deveau has been developing a new solo show for his alternate form, celebrated drag queen Peach Cobblah over the last year, with the support of Intrepid Theatre. Join us for this showing for a sneak peek of the show for Pride Month. The showing will be approx 25-30 minutes, followed by a talkback with the creator/performer and Artistic Director Sean Guist.

Drag Queen Death Scene is the ultimate mashup of Queen of Sweat Peach Cobblah, and her boy form, acclaimed playwright Dave Deveau. It is part play, part mediation on death, part drag cabaret, part political soapbox. A drag comedy about death and grief, it’s a salve for the lonely, isolated soul, and a call to action about the tremendous gift that is life. Be prepared to laugh, to cry, and likely to get splashed with perspiration.

Doors will open 15 minutes before the showing. Masks are encouraged.

Thanks to event sponsor Hotel Rialto.
