What’s Wrong with J McLaughlin: Episode 3: 100 is part of Intrepid Theatre’s Fall Series. Earlybird tickets on sale until September 22 at 5pm!

Kirsten Van Ritzen told me that “the first 100 shows” don’t count.

“What’s Wrong with J McLaughlin: Episode 3 ‘100’ is McLaughlin’s last chance saloon de refuse attempt to dance with their demons (greed anger resentment jealousy boredom anxiety death depression & oh! so much MORE). Third time’s the charm, right?

Uno Festival said: “Jay McLaughlin has the ability to make people laugh out loud. Okay, sometimes she gets a little creepy. But sometimes she blurts out some image so shocking & gorgeous it rewires your brain.”

About the artist/company

J McLaughlin is a shy, queer anarcho-bourgeois musician and performer from Victoria, BC. They have been entertaining, enthralling & occasionally terrorizing burlesque, drag, stand-up, theatrical & music audiences for over 20 years. Working from deep within an incandescent cathedral of optimistic rage, McLaughlin’s solo performances use intimate narrative, dark humour, & wild ribaldry to deconstruct the cognitive dissonance of living within a cisheteronormative imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy.
