Tickets, Passes & Buttons

We have a new ticketing system, created especially for Fringe! This year, 100% of all tickets will be sold in advance, and no tickets will be held for at-door sales at the 2023 Victoria Fringe. This change was implemented in 2022 along with a new box office system. Tickets and buttons cannot be purchased at Unconventional Venues – Sites A, B, C, D. Tickets and passes will be available online at noon on Tuesday, August 1.

Fringe Buttons are required to see a show, $6 each. This is your Festival Membership. Because 100% of all net ticket prices is returned directly to the artists you choose to see, the proceeds from the Fringe Button supports Intrepid Theatre!

Bring your e-ticket (on a phone or printed) and Fringe button to the show for entry.  When you arrive at the venue, the Front of House Manager or volunteer will scan your ticket or check your booking confirmation and Fringe button.

Festival passes are back! NEW this year, tickets can be booked online and in advance on your festival pass.

What’s the deal with Fringe Buttons?

Because 100% of the net ticket price is returned directly to the artists you choose to see, the Fringe Button helps Intrepid Theatre raise the money needed to produce the Fringe. You must show it whenever you enter a Fringe venue. You can purchase in advance at the Fringe HQ Box Office, or at Venues 1 to 5 when seeing a show. Fringe Buttons are not available at the Unconventional Venues – Sites A, B, C D.

Fringe Buttons will be available at the Fringe Eve Preview kick-off event on August 23  at a special price of 2 for $10.
