OUTstages is Victoria BC’s first queer theatre festival –  a week of outrageous stories, surprises, parties and performances from and for the queer community and beyond.

This festival has its finger on the pulse of the queer theatre scene and is proud to bring some of the most exciting, daring and thought-provoking performances to Victoria for the 3rd Annual OUTstages Festival, June 20-24, 2017

The 2017 OUTstages line-up has just been announced and single tickets are now on sale! See more and save up to 30% with a 3-Show Pass, just $50 and can be shared between a few friends for tickets to 1,2 or 3 shows at the festival.

Launched in the summer of 2015, the inaugural OUTstages featured A Quiet Sip of Coffee & Revenge of the Popinjay from AnimalParts (New York/Toronto), Catherine Hernandez’s The Femme Playlist (Toronto), and Stewart Legere’s Let’s Not Beat Each Other to Death (Halifax) alongside play readings, cabarets, and The Pride Playground (a free event for the whole family).

The 2016 festival featured Ivan Coyote’s Tomboy Survival Guide (Vancouver), Nancy Kenny’s Roller Derby Saved My Soul (Ottawa), Gutter Opera’s Cocktales with Maria (Vancouver), Ludwig and Lohengrin from Kyall Rakoz (Calgary), as well as a cabaret of local and festival performers, a double bill play reading and The Pride Playground.
