About the artist/company
For 30 years, Puente Theatre has been producing theatre in Victoria and abroad that brings people together – creating bridges between the diverse cultures that form our nation. Led by artistic director Mercedes Bátiz-Benét, Puente has created wildly unique productions that have toured across the country and internationally, including The Umbrella with Bučan Bučan, El Jinete, a Mariachi Opera, and last year’s Fringe favourite family show Gruff.
