About the artist/company
For almost 8 years, RATFISH was Victoria’s favourite local comedy show. We did two shows a week, so that’s like 800 shows!
At our open mic, anyone could sign up and try stand-up comedy. Hundreds did just that. Comics who honed their skills at RATFISH now regularly perform at clubs, festivals, and on CBC broadcasts.
We also ran no-cost comedy workshops for new performers, including female-focused and Indigenous student group sessions. Our goal is to foster inclusivity in the local comedy scene and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved. At Fringe 2018, you’ll experience the best of RATFISH jammed into one hilarious hour. Maybe even see all six shows, since we’ll have a different lineup every night!
