Open call for artists – Salon Q, A Pride Cabaret

This is an open call for local (Victoria/Lekwungen Territory) based 2SLGBTQIA+ artists for a Pride Cabaret at The Metro Studio. The cabaret will be programmed with diverse samplings of inspired, kitschy, avant-garde, and charming live performance (due to time constraints, not all applications may be programmed). Kick off Victoria Pride Week with us at Salon Q!

Honorariums will be provided for those artists who are programmed in the cabaret.

Artists may be given one spot of 10 minutes or 2 spots, totalling 10 minutes, during the show.

We want to hear from diverse local artists and queer artists from all live performance disciplines (singers, musicians, dancers, theatre makers, poets, spoken word artists, and performance art makers).

Applications are due end of day, May 19. The performance will be June 30 at The Metro Studio, with a technical rehearsal that afternoon.
