What’s my dog really thinking? Let’s find out. A pandemic puppy (and the cat next door) try to find their forever homes—by any means necessary. Evoking elements of Garfield, Fleabag, and Ace Ventura, Bad Dog is an absurd comedy with a heart of gold.

About the artist/company

Born during the pandemic, Blue Jaye Productions believes theatre should be thought-provoking, safe, and above all: fun. The Bad Dog company is a collective of emerging artists (we’re friends too!), educated at the University of Victoria’s Phoenix Theatre and the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Our mission is to create modern, character-driven plays in a world of autobiographical content. Past productions include Knife Skills at the University of Victoria’s SATCo, and Honor Among Thieves at Pier One Theatre. We are thrilled to be a part of this artist community—Happy Fringe!
