From the nightmarish visions of an outcast Latina comes this surreal collection of short vignettes blended together with a whimsical and eerie flavor.

Through objects, physical theater, clowning, and more, audiences are welcome to be submerged into this visual nonsense world inspired by tales, music videos, horror films, and garbage.

It’s ok to be confused.

No latecomers after the show begins.

About the Artist

Plastik Theatrik is the artistic persona of Lore Andrea, with whom she can make her surrealist obsessions come true. A Chilean artist graduated from Club de Teatro and trained in Commedia dell’arte, puppetry, bouffon, clown, and mask. She attended the École Philippe Gaulier and Mask Intensive in Spain thanks to the BC Arts Council.
She has created short shows for cabarets and peep shows around town. Her collaborations include Wonderheads, Atomic Vaudeville, SNAFU, SKAM, Impulse, and Gay4Nature (directed Coffee Cantata!).
Part of the motor of her creation is garbage, magic, tenderness, and the grotesque.
Lore is an ambassador for the BC Culture Days.

Regina Rios, a Mexican actor, singer, creator, and producer, graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts and with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Capilano University. Regina has worked with multiple local theatre companies and filmmakers on Vancouver Island. Her piece “A distancia” was shown at SKAMpede 2021 and at Uno Fest from Intrepid Theatre. Regina loves creating new work that pushes boundaries and speaks about her unique immigrant experience and her multicultural identity.

Anna Bigland-Pritchard, a creator, connector, and multi-genre singer and musician whose creative practice resides at the intersection of climate, queerness, and community-building. Anna has a Bachelor of Music from Canadian Mennonite University and a Diploma in Performance from the University of Manitoba. She is co-creator of Gay4Nature Collective, an indie opera collective that explores ecology, queerness, and hope through film, workshops, and live performances. Anna also performs musical theatre, jazz, vocal looping/improv, and her own indie-folk music.

Michael Bell, a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. Born and raised in a settler family on W̱SÁNEĆ and lək̓ʷəŋən territory, he is a multidisciplinary performer seen most recently in Atomic Vaudeville’s spring cabaret. Other recent credits include The Shop Around the Corner and Wind in the Willows (Blue Bridge Theatre), Crone-o-phobia (Atomic Vaudeville), and Under the Bridge (ABC/Quinn Shepard).
