About the artist/company

Clayton Jevne has been the Artistic Director of Theatre Inconnu since 1978. His solo shows have toured in six countries. He has performed periodically at Fringe festivals across North America (and in Scotland) since 1985. Clayton has also been directly involved in over 130 Theatre Inconnu productions in one capacity or another: actor, director, designer, and general manager. Highlights include performances at the United Solo Festival (New York City), Festival de Sinaloa (Mexico), and the Aberdeen Alternative Arts Festival (Scotland). For the past 10 years Clayton has also taught in the UVic Theatre Department (where he received his PhD).
