a decidely queer theatre festival – celebrating 10 years of OUTstages!

OUTstages returns to heat up your winter this January and February, with shows from leading queer artists from Whitehorse, Vancouver, and Toronto, alongside local performance-makers, including our first ever co-presentation with Dance Victoria and a world premiere from Ivan Coyote, commissioned by Intrepid Theatre for the 10th anniversary festival.

The Idea Series returns: join us for our Get Into It: idea Series with workshops and pop-up performances woven throughout the festival designed to teach you something new, open up your mind, and keep the party going! There will be late-night cabarets on Fridays and Saturdays with libations and pop-up performances from local queer artists; a Happy Hour drag show at The Vicious Poodle; plus free online & in-person workshops (puppet making and income tax help, anyone?).

Under 25? Calling all theatre-loving LGBTQIA+ youth, be a part of the Youth OUTreach Ticket program and get free tickets to experience the festival.
