Pandemic, fire, and an NDP government spending zillions to brutally arrest people protecting the very very very last of our ancient trees is late stage capitalism, climate crisis, ecocidal, genocidal wake-up time. Naked performance artist Tasha Diamant, 59, a white woman living with a diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer, has been revealing the connections between micro and macro vulnerability in performance and public spaces since 2006. Diamant is a brilliant artist- activist whose culturally critical lens has a way of getting past your “this is normal, right?” programming.
