About the artist/company
GutPunch Theatre is a contemporary theatrical collective established by students at the University of Victoria in January 2023. We aspire to create top-quality, theatre inspired by the world around us. We gratefully Acknowledge that we create and perform on the traditional territories of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We encourage emerging artists, curate immersive experiences, and cultivate new relationships to the places that inspire our work. We adhere to the mantra: “Everyone is Everyone’s Assistant” as we learn and grow together as a collective. GutPunch Theatre aims to create shows that leave audiences with a feeling they will never forget.
