The Potato King returns with a NEW SHOW from award-winning British comedian and 12X BEST OF FRINGE WINNER. “The Potato King is also king of big laughs. Hogg is a fantastically engaging performer, sort of like if Ricky Gervais had more energy, and he weaves all his stories with brilliantly vivid descriptions and razor-sharp humour.” -Edmonton Journal.

“A master of the callback, Hogg reels off a litany of complex and layered anecdotes at break-neck speed, perfectly justifying his comparison with Rik Mayall, whisked together with a lightness of touch reminiscent of a young Stewart Lee.” -Ben Blyth, The Beer Tent reviews, Edmonton

“Part Rik Mayall, Eric Idle and Eddie Izzard, bellowing British comedy-actor Jimmy Hogg whips around the stage like an excitable Labrador puppy. Hysterically tangential.” -Now Toronto

***** “Dickens would love this guy.”-Orlando Sentinel

“He’s got a wickedly rapid, sometimes bitterly sharp, delivery.”-CBC

“Telling really funny stories is what Hogg does best. If you want to know how to take ordinary life and turn it into theater, this guy is a master.”-Orlando Sentinel
