About the artist/company

Peter Stevens has won awards for his comedy writing on CBC’s The Irrelevant Show, Tom Shadow, and with his troupe Elephant Empire. Recently, Peter was narrative consultant for Gary and His Demons Season 2 on Amazon Prime.

Artist reviews: “The Potato King is also king of big laughs. Hogg is a fantastically engaging performer, sort of like if Ricky Gervais had more energy, and he weaves all his stories with brilliantly vivid descriptions and razor-sharp humour.” -Edmonton Journal.

“A master of the callback, Hogg reels off a litany of complex and layered anecdotes at break-neck speed, perfectly justifying his comparison with Rik Mayall, whisked together with a lightness of touch reminiscent of a young Stewart Lee.” -Ben Blyth, The Beer Tent reviews, Edmonton
