About the artist/company

Sometimes Carebear, sometimes Godfather, always charming: Drag King Chaz Avery has been making a name for himself in the Left Coast Drag Collective scene since his debut in March of 2016 with his energetic live performances, and also by producing & hosting the well-loved King Fling extravaganzas, ManCrush Mondays, and various other events throughout the city. It’s the moment, the vibe, the gender envy, and today, it’s getting real. Local lavender menace, drag creature, and force to be reckoned with, Gay Jatsby is your favourite campy clown and peddler of mildly amusing anecdotes. You can find it regularly hosting alternative drag show Freakshow.
