The Opening Ceremony is a large-scale outdoor performance launching this year’s 30th anniversary celebrations. More than twenty community groups and hundreds of performers are collaborating on this epic celebration of the diverse, DIY spirit of the Fringe.

Stick around afterwards for two-minute previews from each Fringe company, and kick back and enjoy a beer or cider and a bite from a food truck. Bring your pens, highlighters and programs. PLUS grab your Fringe Buttons, 2 for $10 special at this event ONLY!

Come one, come all! Help us kick off celebrations of three decades of Fringe at this fun, FREE, all ages event.

Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., Merridale Ciderworks and local food trucks,The EAT Machine and The crispy fish will be on hand.
