As part of the 16 Days of Activism for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, “La Historia de Todas” was performed at CCH Naucalpan. Blending poetry, documentary texts, and powerful imagery, the play sparked reflection among the youth, aiming to raise awareness about gender-based violence in Mexico and beyond.
The audience’s response was overwhelmingly emotional and thoughtful. One student shared: “I expected something boring, but it left me deeply moved. It made me reflect on how women live in fear both inside and outside their homes.” Another added: “It should be shown to a much wider audience, especially to men, to help us open our minds and understand the reality of femicide.”
After the show, the cast and producer opened a dialogue circle with the students, allowing them to share personal reflections, ask questions, and begin conversations that extended beyond the performance. The piece was widely praised by students and faculty as an effective tool for empathy, education, and change.
