Tickets, Passes & Buttons
100% of all tickets will be sold in advance, and no tickets will be held for at-door sales at the 2024 Victoria Fringe. This change was implemented in 2022. Tickets and buttons cannot be purchased at Unconventional Venues – Sites A, B, C, D.
Fringe Buttons are required to see a show, $6 each. This is your Festival Membership. Because 100% of all net ticket prices is returned directly to the artists you choose to see, the proceeds from the Fringe Button supports Intrepid Theatre!
Bring your e-ticket (on a phone or printed) and Fringe Button to the show for entry. When you arrive at the venue, the Front of House Manager or volunteer will scan your ticket or check your booking confirmation and Fringe Button.
Festival passes are back! Tickets can be booked online and in advance on your festival pass.

100% of all tickets will be sold in advance for all shows at the Fringe. No tickets are held for at-door sales. See individual shows for ticket prices. There is a $1.50 processing fee per ticket.
There are no refunds or exchanges. If you are unwell and therefore cannot attend a show you’ve purchased tickets to, contact our box office at tickets@intrepidtheatre.com before the show.

At Intrepid Theatre, #2 – 1609 Blanshard (at Fisgard). The Fringe Box Office will be open 12-5:30pm Monday to Friday starting August 1. Starting August 19, the Fringe Box Office will be open daily 12-5:30pm through September 1.
Online
Tickets can be purchased anytime at victoriafringe.com.
You will receive your e-ticket via the email that is associated with your account. This e-ticket can be printed out and scanned or be scanned right from your smartphone at the Fringe venues. If your e-ticket is not scanning on your smartphone, try turning up your phone’s brightness. Everyone requires a ticket to access a show.
Tickets are $13 or $15 plus a processing fee of $1.50 per ticket.
Some shows offer a student/senior price.
Artists set their own ticket prices, and 100% of the ticket price directly goes to the artist.
Senior prices are available for anyone aged 65+. We allow patrons to self-identify as seniors and IDs are not required. Some shows offer a senior price and some may not, as artists set their own ticket prices.
Student prices are available for anyone who attends school, no matter their age. We allow patrons to self-identify as students and student IDs are not required. Some shows offer a student price and some may not, as artists set their own ticket prices.
Tickets can be booked with passes online. Book online or at the Fringe HQ Box Office.
Fringe Button not included with these passes: you will need one to use your pass.
All passes have a $4 surcharge.
5-SHOW MUNCHCARDS – $66 + fee
The best way to Fringe! Munch up 5 shows with this shareable 5-Show Pass (bring a friend or see 5 shows yourself). You can buy multiple Munchcards, but you’ll need to redeem 5 shows before adding another pass to your cart.
FREQUENT FRINGER – $116 + fee
Get your Fringe on with this discount 10-Show Pass. Now shareable with the option to book up to two tickets per show. Limited quantity – only 100 passes available – when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Can be used to book in advance.
1. Purchase your pass
To use either a Frequent Fringer or Munch Card pass, first you need to purchase one! Click here to view and purchase available passes.
Note that you will have to log in or sign up for an account in order to purchase your pass — in doing so, this assigns the pass to your account. Once you’ve purchased that pass, when you log into your account, the website will recognize your pass, and how many ticket punches you have remaining.
2. Log into your account
When you’re ready to buy your tickets, log into your account—the same one you purchased the pass under.
3. Add tickets to your basket
Add either the $13 or $15 ticket (depending on the show; if there are two ticket types, it doesn’t matter which you pick!) to your basket. Because you are logged in and the website knows you have a pass on your account, it will zero out the cost of the tickets once added to your basket.
Note: If your basket is not reading $0, make sure you are logged in.
4. Check out!
From here, go through the checkout process as if you were paying for your tickets. You will know your tickets have been booked when you receive your ticket confirmation email, with the receipt of the specific shows you have purchased and a QR code at the top. If you have not received a confirmation email, you have not received your tickets—please contact the box office.
Because 100% of the net ticket price is returned directly to the artists you choose to see, the Fringe Button helps Intrepid Theatre raise the money needed to produce the Fringe. You must show it whenever you enter a Fringe venue. You can purchase buttons for $6:
- In-person, in advance, at the Intrepid Box Office
- Online, to be picked up either at the Intrepid Box Office or at Venues 1 to 5 when seeing a show.
- In-person, at Venues 1 to 5
- Fringe Buttons are not available for purchase OR pickup at the Unconventional Venues – Sites A, B, C, D.
Fringe Buttons will be available at the Fringe Eve Preview kick-off event on August 21 at a special price of 2 for $10!
