Previously under the working title (Bonhomme), REALBOY is an evolving performative investigation into ways and means to smash the patriarchy, reimagine superheroes and lovebomb the boys. Performed by director clown rapper Britt Small and featuring Hank Pine and an audience guest.

About the artists:
Atomic Vaudeville is an award-winning Performance Company founded in 2004 by Jacob Richmond and Britt Small. They have produced more than 80 cabarets across Canada as well as Ride the Cyclone, Legoland, Rudolph!, Blisskrieg, Hedwig, Rocky Horror and Matt and Ben. Proud to call Victoria home and support the development of the mega talent of its emerging artists.

Britt Small has over 20 years experience as a director, producer, performer, curator, storyteller and teacher. She recently premiered her solo-ish show Bonhomme at UNO Works. She is the artistic producer of company Atomic Vaudeville and performs musically as Boss Saint B.

Nationally and internationally, Britt has directed Janet Munsil’s Circus Fire and The Ugly Duchess, Jacob Richmond’s The Qualities of Zero, Ride the Cyclone and Legoland, The Fantasticks and True West for Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre, The Rocky Horror Show, Hedwig, A Midsummer Night’s Dream for GVSF, God’s Lake andCastle in the Sky for Castlereigh Theatre. 

Britt also works as a dramaturge and book editor and has taught acting, play building, clown, comedy, movement and improvisation for various organizations including the University of Victoria and the Canadian College of Performing Arts.
