Victoria Fringe Festival: August 20-31, 2025

Welcome to the 39th annual Victoria Fringe Festival! Whether this is your first time Fringe-ing or your 30th, we are glad you're joining us for 12 days of madcap fun this summer! The website, tickets and programs launch are live! Check out the digital guide or pick one up in person; get your tickets, passes and buttons online or at the Intrepid Box Office during open hours.

Image lists the box office hours, which are 12 to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday until August 15th, and After August 18th, they are 12 to 5 pm every day of the week.

The 2025 Fringe kicks off with the Fringe Eve Preview, a free outdoor event on Wednesday August 20 in Market Square, where nearly every show in the festival takes to the stage with a 2 minute preview (it’s like a movie trailer, but live!). Nearly 30 shows takeover venues across the city from Thursday August 21 through Sunday August 31. FringeKids is our two day mini-fest running over the first weekend of the Fringe, in partnership with Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People, it is packed with interactive activities, story time, and performances for ages 3+. Part of the fun of the Victoria Fringe is the Pick of the Fringe Awards, where audience vote for their favourite shows across multiple categories, and the favourite shows are announced at the closing night party and Pick of the Fringe Awards.

Check out the 2025 Fringe Guide

Physical copies of the program guide are available at the Intrepid Box Office during box office hours, at our Music Bingo fundraiser, at Fringe Preview August 20th, and are distributed at various local businesses around Victoria thanks to our wonderful volunteers!

A Vancouver Island festival tradition for more than three decades, Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival takes over downtown Victoria BC each summer for a celebration of live performance from around the world, featuring an eclectic mixture of spoken word, drama, musicals, dance, comedy, magic, theatre for young audiences and more at venues across the city.
